This is my commandment (AATB) is also attributed to [W.] Mundy and to Tallis. The attribution to Johnson is in a book copied at St Paul’s, London, one of a small group of sources copied in London containing works by him. Early English Church Music Supplementary Vol. I, p. 115 lists this work under Robert Johnson II (c. 1583–1633). But it is far more likely to be our Robert Johnson, and very close to his style.
